Meagan & Brian just might be one of the cutest couples I have gotten a chance to work with, and it was even published in "360 West Weddings" for their 2017 Spring/Summer issue!! (How exciting is that!?!) See the article and other published weddings HERE.
They and their families were genuine, sweet, and fun! I first met with Meagan, Brian, and Meagan’s mom at a Starbucks in Fort Worth, and we quickly hit it off! I even got a copy of their family Christmas card at the end of the meeting! Although they had not yet found a venue, I suggested Brooks at Weatherford, and they quickly fell in love with the wedding venue.
ORGANIC WEDDING AT THE BROOKS AT WEATHERFORD - CEREMONY
Meagan & Brian got married in the Brooks at Weatherford’s open-aired white chapel in front of the tall gothic arched windows. The aisle was lined with driftwood and succulents, and the bridesmaids wore floral print short dresses, and their bouquets were a mixture of navy & apricot flowers and succulents. It was the perfect setting for this elegant organic wedding ceremony!
After the ceremony as the couple took pictures, the guests found their name on the large wood seating chart with navy tags that was located right by the Brook’s at Weatherford’s side entry door.
ORGANIC WEDDING AT THE BROOKS AT WEATHERFORD - RECEPTION
The reception was held in the grand event hall at Brooks at Weatherford, and it’s tall wood ceilings, and open air concept made the décor come alive! As soon as guests walked into the reception, they found their seat in the event hall filled with a mixture of round and long tables, each with stone table numbers. At the front of the reception was the wood head table with a long garland filled with different types of greenery and succulents, sage green napkins, and white tapered candles. All the guest tables had ivory linens, chivari chairs, and metal geometric shapes places throughout the tables. The florals were a mix of eucalyptus, silver dollar, evergreen, and even succulents in concrete boat containers.
As the night went on the guests danced the night away with music from Forerunner Entertainment that kept everyone on the dance floor the entire evening, and when it was time to leave guests held sparklers while the bride and groom kissed. It was the perfect romantic ending to a beautiful night!
