Jordan & Brian’s wedding at the Trinity River Audubon Center in Dallas TX will give you all those fall & winter vibes! I absolutely LOVE the organic woodland concept of this Dallas wedding, and CANNOT wait to share it! Jordan & Brian were so much fun to work with. Not only were they such so easy going and trusting, but also fun and kind-hearted. Jordan even fosters dogs that are still in need of a home as hobby, I mean how sweet is that!?! (I love that my clients make me want to be a better person lol)

When I first met Jordan & Brian, they had chosen a venue, and when I heard that it was Trinity River Audubon Center I was elated!! I wanted to create a design that not only reflected Jordan & Brian’s laid back and fun personalities but also meshed well with the venue’s overall scenery and interior. I was inspired by wood, blue tones, greenery, and velvet. I love the way velvet textures complement with wood and thought it would be an interesting concept for a fall wedding.

TRINITY RIVER AUDUBON CENTER - CEREMONY

Jordan & Brian got married at the Trinity River Audubon Center’s Butterfly Garden. Not only was the weather perfect, but the ceremony was the perfect mix of simple and organic details. The altar was made of driftwood with touches of greenery and loose chiffon fabric. The bridesmaids wore long dark blue bridesmaid dresses and held bridesmaid bouquets mixed with greenery & succulent with velvet ribbon hanging from the bouquet. I have to say it was one of the most breathtaking ceremonies because of the way the light was hitting the archway and the tall grass of the Butterfly Garden!

After the ceremony, as the couple took pictures at the church, the guests headed to the Trinity River Audubon Center’s Great Hall for the reception and found their name on the wood stump seating chart with each guests name hanging from a velvet ribbon. It was definitely one of my favorite seating charts to date! (But I am not going to lie I was having second thoughts when I nailed each one of them in at 6 months preggo! Lol)

TRINITY RIVER AUDUBON CENTER - RECEPTION

The reception was held in the Great Hall of the Trinity River Audubon Center in Dallas TX. As guests walked into the reception, they found their seat in the Great Hall filled with a mixture of square and long tables, each with float frame table numbers with pressed greenery in each one. At the center of the reception was the head table with a long garland mixed with succulents, roses & a variety of greenery, and candles at a variety of heights. All the reception tables had navy linens; organic centerpieces is concrete vases, driftwood throughout the table, and each place setting had blue napkin tied with a tan velvet ribbon.

As the night went on the guests danced the night away with music from the Forerunner Entertainment that kept everyone on the dance floor the entire evening. When it was time to leave guests through eco-fetti, and the bride and groom kissed under a tunnel of eco-fetti right outside the Trinity River Audubon Center’s entry. It was the perfect end to a beautiful night!
