I cannot begin to tell you how excited I was when I was approached by Brides of North Texas to plan and design their Magazine Launch Party for their Spring 2018 issue. And then to top it off, I learned that the event would be held at The Ritz Carlton in Dallas, and it would be the first event held in their newly renovated Ballroom! (How awesome is that!?!)
When it came to the overall design of the event, I was really inspired by the Ritz Carlton Dallas new finishes and wanted to create an event that not only was in line with their new design concept, but also one that felt romantic (our signature touch!) We quickly decided on a grey, dusty blue and gold color scheme. Are inspiration came from geode elements, gold metallics & soft detailing, and we wanted to create a modern and elevated yet romantic space for guests to experience throughout the morning.
THE RITZ CARLTON DALLAS - COCKTAIL SPACE
As guests entered the Ritz Carlton Dallas, they walked directly to the new foyer space with a large blue chandelier and a stunning mirror tile wall. We hung the magazine from an acrylic archway in the space that wowed guests as they walked in. The space is honestly the perfect “Instagram” moment for any event!
Cocktail hour was held in the foyer outside the Ritz Carlton Dallas TX ballroom. And each guest was greeted with geode champagne, and even alcoholic snow cones (yes you heard me right!) Beautiful Event Rentals provided elegant gold mirror bars that were placed in the center of the room, and guests mingled at lounge furniture that was placed throughout the space with acrylic cocktail tables.

When it was time to enter the ballroom for the big reveal, guests found their table in the Ritz Carlton Dallas ballroom that was filled with a mixture of long and round tables. Each table had lush gorgeous florals, provided by Parc 21, that had the most beautiful yellow roses throughout each centerpiece and candles that filled the tables. We wanted to create a modern yet romantic setting so each place setting had acrylic ghost chairs, marble chargers, modern gold silverware, and a geometric menu.
As the afternoon came to a close, guests grabbed a geode cupcakes favor from Honey Love Bakery, which were delicious by the way!! And the Ritz Carlton had a live station dessert bar for guests to enjoy. (Yes pretty much any foodies dream!)
