Garden Grove Wedding & Event Venue Wedding | Modern Mexican Wedding

Have I got a cool, fun, and colorful wedding for you today!!! In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, I had to share Pilar & Garrett’s modern Mexicana wedding at Garden Grove Event Center in Austin TX. It was full of modern shapes & design and was a Mexicana twist.

GARDEN GROVE WEDDING & EVENT VENUE - CEREMONY

Pilar & Garrett’s wedding ceremony was on the large open field just outside the main house on the property. The altar was actually made by Pilar & Garrett’s friend, Dan, an architect, who built it out of copper pipping! The unique copper archway had colorful pink and orange florals with greenery at the top, and the couple stood on a large white and black geometric rug. The base of the archway was decorated with succulents and cactus that were placed in varying heights vases. The bridesmaids wore classic long mixed matched dresses, and held colorful pink bouquets, while the groomsmen wore class black tuxes. (Everyone was looking sharp!)

After the ceremony as the couple took pictures, the guests ate Hors-d'oeuvres around the pool and found their names at the colorful geometric escort card table.

GARDEN GROVE WEDDING & EVENT VENUE - RECEPTION

The reception was held outside in the venue’s main courtyard with a mixture of rectangle and round tables that were placed around the pool, with hanging café lights above. Each table had a black napkin, a geometric menu with a different color for each place setting, and Mexican tile table number. The head table was located right in front of the pool and had A unique geometric black and white runner that added the perfect modern Mexicana touch to the tablescape. The florals were a mix of pink and orange flowers that were placed in terracotta vases to go along with the overall color scheme.

And as the night went on, the guests danced the night away under the café lights and had an epic after party to end the night. Once it was time to pass out (because hey we are all human!), they went to their tent that was located right next to the venue’s large lawn. I mean how is that!?! Glamping at a wedding!
