Texas Barn Wedding | Stone Crest Venue Wedding | Sarah & Nathan

Design Process

For Sarah and Nathan's wedding at Stone Crest Venue, they envisioned a celebration that combined elements of fun and tradition with a touch of the outdoors inspired by their favorite travels in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana.

Drawing inspiration from the wildflowers found in these states, I crafted a color scheme that captured the essence of their adventures. The dusty blue hue served as the base, complemented by pops of purple, pink, and yellow. This color palette not only reflected the natural beauty of the landscapes they love but also set the tone for a relaxed and joyful aesthetic that carried throughout the event.

Stone Crest Venue | Ceremony

To enhance the natural beauty of the Stone Crest Venue and stay true to the wildflower aesthetic desired by the couple, I aimed to match the scale of the existing trellis for the ceremony setup. So I opted on a large floral installation to be placed on each post of the trellis to match its scale. These floral arrangements extended up to 10 feet, creating a stunning and immersive archway that truly captured the essence of a wildflower-inspired design.

This grand and picturesque setup added a touch of magic and beauty to the ceremony space, providing a breathtaking backdrop for Sarah and Nathan's special day.

Stone Crest Venue | Reception

For Sarah and Nathan's reception at Stone Crest Venue, we curated a charming table design that reflected their style and vision. We selected dusty blue linens paired with cross back chairs to create an elegant and rustic atmosphere. Colorful florals were tastefully arranged throughout the tables, adding a vibrant touch to the setting.

To further personalize the dining experience, we placed menus inspired by the Colorado mountains on each plate. These menus not only showcased the culinary offerings but also unfolded to reveal the delightful menu selections, tying in beautifully with the couple's love for the outdoors and creating a memorable dining experience for their guests.

Stone Crest Venue | Staircase Flowers

To showcase the grand staircase at Stone Crest Venue and create a memorable entryway for the bride and groom at the reception, we opted to adorn the railing of the stairway with cascading flowers.

This floral installation added a touch of elegance and charm, enhancing the beauty of the staircase and providing a picture-perfect backdrop for the couple's grand entrance. The blooming flowers created a romantic and inviting atmosphere, setting the stage for a magical evening of celebration and love at Sarah and Nathan's special event.

Stone Crest Venue | Wedding Icee’s

Not wanting the groom to feel left out of dessert since he wasnt a big fan of cake, we added a sweet treat for the night by offering alcoholic ices to the guests.

This unique choice added a fun and refreshing twist to the celebration, providing guests with a delightful late-night treat.

To enhance the experience, we paired the alcoholic ices with a custom neon sign that read "Let's Get Frosty" and custom icy cups featuring the couple's names. This personalized touch added a touch of whimsy and excitement to the festivities, ensuring that everyone had a memorable and enjoyable time celebrating Sarah and Nathan's special day.

Stone Crest Venue | Post Card Seating Chart

To create a seating chart that was not only functional but also personalized and meaningful, we decided on a unique approach. We curated a postcard display featuring vintage postcards from the bride and groom's favorite places they had visited together, each holding a special memory. Each postcard was carefully clipped with the guest's name and table number, making it both a seating guide and a nostalgic journey through the couple's shared experiences. This thoughtful and creative touch not only helped guests easily find their seats but also added a heartfelt and personal element to the wedding decor, reflecting the couple's love story and adventures.
