Parker Manor Wedding in Weatherford TX | Southern Texas Wedding | Callie & Derek
Callie & Derek got married at Parker Manor in Weatherford TX on a beautiful sunny day in November! It was my first event at this venue, and I hope that I get to do even more there next year!
When I first met Callie at my Fort Worth office, and I knew from the moment she showed me her inspiration photos and described what she wanted for her big day we were going to be a great fit!
When it came to her wedding design, Callie wanted her wedding to feel romantic, southern & organic. However, even though she wanted it to look light and airy, she also wanted it to be colorful and requested to incorporate some darker fall tones into the color scheme. As a result, we decided on a navy, ivory, white, blush & burgundy color scheme that was truly unique to her!
Parker Manor Springs Wedding & Event Venue Wedding - Ceremony
Callie & Derek’s ceremony was held in front of Parker Manor’s large white pavilion with 300 of their family & friends. The ceremony location was so beautiful I didn’t want to take away from its natural beauty, so we added greenery installations on the columns, which looked like vines that were naturally growing around the columns.
After the ceremony, as the couple took pictures with their families, the guests headed to Parker Manor’s surrounding patio for cocktail hour where they found their tables at the custom gold-framed seating charts (Yes we actually needed 2!), where each escort card was made with vellum paper and navy wax seals.
Parker Manor Springs Wedding & Event Venue Wedding - Reception
As guests entered the reception, they found their seat in Parker Manor's large ballroom that was filled with a mixture of round and long tables, each with a float frame table number with hand-drawn calligraphy on ivory linen paper. The head table was placed in front of the fireplace and was adorned large florals and grey tapered candles. And each reception table had ivory linens, white chivari chairs, colorful centerpieces in gold vases, gold chargers, thank you notes, and navy napkins.
As the night went on the guests danced to music from a live duo that kept everyone on the dance floor the entire evening. The duo even made a song, especially for the bride and groom!! (How cool is that!?!) The night was filled with so many fun moments and plenty of dancing (And guys I am not just saying that! These guests knew how to get down ;P). That I know it is one that their guests will never forget!
Congratulations ya’ll!! -Shannon
