Cotton MIll McKinney TX Wedding | Romantic Fall Wedding | Marcy & Bryce

Marcy & Bryce’s wedding at the Cotton Mill in Mckinney TX was the perfect modern romantic fall wedding.  When I met with Marcy and her mother, I knew we would hit it off, and I loved the challenge of her design.  She wanted it to feel romantic, whimsical, fall, and modern.  And when it came to the color scheme, she LOVED rose gold, but didn’t want too much pink.  So we decide on a burgundy, blush, and rose gold color scheme. And let me tell you this is one you don’t want to miss!

COTTON MILL IN MCKINNEY TX - CEREMONY

Marcy & Bryce got married in Mckinney Cotton Mill’s event hall in front of the large windows that overlook its beautiful courtyard.  The altar was a large copper archway that was filled with greenery and burgundy asymmetrical florals and rose gold lanterns lined the aisle.  The bridesmaids wore burgundy bridesmaid dresses and held bridesmaid bouquets mixed with white, blush, and burgundy florals, while the groomsmen wore classic black tuxes.

After the ceremony, as the couple took pictures with their families, the guests headed to the fountain courtyard where TCP catering passed hors-d'oeuvres to the guests.  Guests then headed to the seating chart where guests found their name on a copper geometric structure that hung from the ceiling with burgundy paper that noted who is sitting at each table.

COTTON MILL IN MCKINNEY TX - RECEPTION

The reception was held in the Mckinney Cotton Mill’s Event Hall, and as guests walked into the reception, they found their seat in the room filled with a mixture of round and long tables, each with wood and copper table numbers.  The head table was located right in front of the dance floor and was made of up of three farm tables, copper lanterns, and lush burgundy florals.  All the reception tables had ivory linens; romantic centerpieces is copper vases, mauve chiffon table runners, and each place setting had burgundy napkins with wheat and custom menus designed by Wee Cherie.

As the night went on the guests danced the night away with music from Forerunner Entertainment and ate plenty of cake from Sweet Somethings by Ashleigh that had two action figures, that the groom made himself of the bride and groom, which were placed in front of the cake.  When it was time to leave guests held sparklers as the bride and groom ran into their getaway vehicle.  It was beautiful and fun night, and I am so excited to finally share it 😊
